SFSD Offers Summer Lunch Program, Migrant Education Summer School

SFSD Summer Lunch Program

The Silver Falls School District free summer lunch program runs from June 20 – August 26. The program is for all children ages 1-18. There is no need to register or be approved. Lunch will be served Monday – Friday at the following locations and times:

Silverton High School Cafeteria, 1456 Pine St. 12 to 12:30 p.m.
Mark Twain School Ball Field, 425 N Church St. 11 to 11:30 a.m.
Coolidge McClain Park, 300 Coolidge St. 12 to 12:30 p.m.
Scotts Mills City Park, 300 First St., Scotts Mills 11 to 11:30 a.m.

Migrant Education Summer School Program

The Migrant Education Summer School Program will run from July 11 – August 5 at Silverton High School. This program offers educational support to the children of migrant farmworkers in grades Pre-K through 12. Classes are offered Monday – Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Services provided include transportation, breakfast and lunch, school supplies, books, cultural enrichment activities, soccer balls and more.
